To be honest, the goal of Izumi Kato to have you look at his art and interpret it for yourself was exactly what bro on 4chan did 17 years ago from now, but it's a shame that people can't see Izumi's sculpture anymore and make their own mind about it, because you (and I for what that's worth) would immediately think of peanut. The creation of SCP-173 is exactly what Izumi Kato wanted with his art but somehow it kinda destroyed the original artwork. But that's no one's fault because who would expect that a single 4chan post becomes one of the biggest horror franchises and propably the most iconic horror franchise. I absolutely understand why Izumi Kato does Not want people to make profit from his art, which is still his property after all. We are all "Okay do whatever you want with it, As long as you don't claim it as yours" here, so that's exactly why this is the right move because we can't claim that original version of 173 as our own when we go by our own rules. However, this association with the artwork will propably not go away, wether that is good or not is up to you. Tbh I think it's great, because that is how I discovered Izumis work and bro go look at his stuff, he does so crazy shit, it's fucking amazing. He is propably gonna be one of my all-time favourite artists actually. His other statues and his artworks(tbh especially his flat artworks on canvases) are sooo great. Also peak home decoration, but I propably have to recreate one or do a own version inspired by him, because I'm way too broke to actually buy one. You can say about bro what you want, but he Def managed to achieve his goal to spark a feeling in you that is different in every person who looks at their art. Everyone should interpret it their way and there is actually a lot you can interpret into each individual piece. I forgot who said this but someone said art is there to be looked at. Go look at his art! The O5 Council told me I should tell you people that they demand you to look at his art now!!!
